I found this one back on August 23 this year but I don't believe I ever posted it. It is 2 â…›" long with heavy grinding in the hafting area. Made from Knife River Flint, found in McLean County, ND. 20200825_121611.jpg20200825_121548.jpg20200825_121418.jpg20200825_121437.jpg20200823_112439.jpg

What a beauty Mike! Killer Insitu!
Thanks Tdog! I found it while I was doing the "storm walk" back to my truck after a nasty storm cloud was approaching. Usually my buddy and I refer to a storm walk as that fast walk you do back to your vehicle after a long unproductive hunt but it took on a different meaning that day.

May be too late, but that's banner in my book. What a great point!

That’s a find of a lifetime. Congratulations.
I too know the storm walk very well. I’ll admit though, that sometimes I’ve lost the race back to the truck.

Beautiful Paleo example!

A rare beauty no doubt, nice snag.
Thanks H.P.! It was odd that I found it where i did since there is almost no Paleo at that area...most everything there is Archaic

Thanks Mucker! It really surprised the heck out of me when I was headed back!
