Hello from Jax, FL.
I am interisted in finding out the laws on how far out from the shore you can detect for treasure without needing permits in order to keep your finds. I have heard many different storys on the distances and would appricate any info on this matter.
I also have a 34' boat so I would be able to go further out, and I understand that you need search permits just to look for wrecks, although this info may not be correct either. Any info on this would help too.
Thanks, Tim

Go to myflorida.com , which is the portal to all Florida government websites. Once there, look under archaeology or historic resources. ALL regulations for coastal and inland resources are there. Go straight to the source..don't rely on hearsay.

Atlantic beach.
is it possible to hunt in hanna park? in the park close to the lake?

actually I tryed one time.
I found a LOT of trash,
I found some cans buried 6 inch in the ground below the grass.

How is it possible. was the park a public beach with sand years ago?
