Fishing weight?

It's a fishing weight...not vintage.

I don't know about vintage but it is a fishing weight. I used them in the 80's and 90's

Thanks for looking. I wasn't sure. I searched many images and oddly enough, I couldn't find any like this one.

The weird thing about it it the location in which I found it. There was a small stream near by, but not a real fishing location. Maybe it washed up during some high waters though.

Back where I grew up we used to pull some surprising fish put a small stream (only 3 feet wide and about 15 inches deep).
