I have a book on antique fishing tackle, if you can look on the lures and find the maker and model I will look them up for you. The info is usually stamped on the lip of the lure or the spinner.

You should contact the people who sold them to you and apologize to them. Eight bucks is a steal. Those old lures are very popular at sales in Tenn. HH, Quindy.

Don't know much about fishing equipment
but I do know that the boxes that old lures came in
are worth as much or more than the lures themselves sometimes.
Old reels can get pricey also if you have the right one and there is always a market for the tins...

I'd say that you did alright! :headbang:

Best,
Scott

Definitely made a great score :headbang: CCB co is creek chub bait company. It's a very nice lure $$ Is the silver minnow still in the box or is it just the box? NEVER , NEVER, NEVER throw away boxes for old lures. They can go for big cash too. They a key to the value of a lure and collectors seek them out. I'll do some research on your baits and get back to you on Monday maybe sooner.

The small unknown lure with the propeller looks a bit like an Arbogast Jutterbug which are HIGHLY sought after. Look very closely at the sides for black lettering that may be faded or scraped off.

Thanks everyone for the input & help.
Here are a few more pictures. The one no name lure looks pretty old to me. :dontknow: :icon_scratch:
Have a great weekend.

If they are made of wood, they are keepers! Pun intended.

I called the cops. If you got all that for eight bucks, you STOLE those! :icon_thumleft:
I'm drooling.

Thanks Gopher,
When the cops arrive, I hope they let me off the hook. Pun intended. ;D
You can get some great buys sometimes at estate auctions. I couldn't resist picking up this fishing tackle since my son and I love to fish.
Have a great weekend.
