4.3928571428571428571428571428571 OZ it weighs,it certainly has a nice patina for lead,never see any sinkers shaped like this in my day.What else could it be??

I THINK A WEIGHT FOR A CLOCK OR SOME THING THAT REQUIRES A WEIGHT TO ACTIVATE , NEEEET FIND ....

I would say that it is just an unusual fishing weight. I have a mold that casts some that look kind of like bananas.

That's right E Texas, back in the day they had molds exactly like that, and I know that as a fact I just didn't post that (TMI).

I like the plumb bob idea as its pointed
see no reason why a fishing weight needs to be pointed

That doesn't make sense, I've seen this exact style sinker, many times, and it only looks like a 1 ounce, not enough weight for a plumb bob. Pointed fishing weights?, well I posted two in the photo above, there many different styles of fishing weights that have a pointed end/s.

Fishing sinkers usually don't come in odd weights. I'll side with Pangus and say curtain weight.
