Found in a school yard. It’s painted white with red eyes.

It’s heavy metal. I think lead.

I don't believe it is a fishing lure as there isn't a Hook or anything to tie the line to.

Called a lead head jig. the hook was cast into the lead and has now rusted away. A plastic "skirt" or deer hair skirt was tied onto the grooved part on the back end. I have used many different types of these saltwater fishing. Probably carried by some kid who dropped it in the school yard.

I agree that it has all the characteristics of a lead head jig but I haven't seen a jig mold with that pattern.I make jigs and weights and that mold isn't out there it must have been a small company that made it.robot-clipart-cartoon-13.webp Robot head jig?LOL

It looks like all of your pictures are from the same side.
If you look on the round end or the other side and there is a rusted spots where the "eye" to tie the line & hook were, then could be a jig head.
Sorry I don't have any good guesses.
Interesting find though...

There's so many home made jig molds around here. Here's a similar head with not so raised eyes.s-l225.webp

Thanks for all the replies. I don’t really see where the hook and eye rusted off but I’m still going to say this is a homemade jig.
