Holy Cow.... I just made a discovery I didn't know about. How many people knew that Fisher Labs, Bounty Hunter, & Teknetics were part of the same company?

At the bottom of the FISHER LAB website it shows them as: "See our other products and technologies"

And if you go to the Bounty Hunter website, the Discovery 3300 Metal Detector looks remarkably like the Fisher F4.

Yep........ West Texas. Look at the Fisher Gold Bug and the Teknetics G2. I was told the first G2's actually said Gold Bug on the wake-up screen. Many of the Fisher's and Teknetics share the same boxes etc. The Teknetics T2 and Fisher F75 are very similar with the F75 having more bells and whistles.

Discovery 3300 Metal Detector

Manual ground balance
Zero in with microprocessor-controlled discrimination
Deep-seeking one-touch pinpoint
5 Modes of operation
4-Tone and 11-segment target identification
Coin-sized objects 10” deep

------> larger objects up to 4' ((( 4 feet !?! Seriously.... 4 feet!?! )))

First Texas, which already had Bounty Hunter and Teknetics, acquired Fisher in 2006.

A lot of hunters look down their noses at Bounty Hunter line when they are just being sold at a lower price. I'm waiting on a waterproof one for freshwater use.
