Don't even go there! The Gold bug is one of the finest gold nugget detectors ever made. You must be wanting to coin shoot with it,because nobody nugget hunts in discrimination - - - - - - - - Soooo, sell it for big bucks and go buy a coin shooter. Joe

How much trouble would it be to add a discrimination circuit to the FISHER gold bug.

I use the gold bug 2 and you can discriminate out items by pumping/balancing the coil over them. You won't find gold that way though. If you use it enough you can tell coins from other things. I took it to heart when the dude on the GB2 vid said it works great as a coin and relic machine too. I have over a 100 gold jewlery finds in 4 years and jsut as much Silver, I only hunt on weekends as long as the wifey says it's okay .
