Hi,
I'm trying to decide on upgrading from my Tesoro Vaquero to an ID screen and multiple tone detector. I want to use it for relic/coin hunting. I've been reading and watching youtube video's and still have not made up my mind yet. The Fisher F75 is my top choice so far. Is the Fisher F75 LTD and the SE the same machine. Will it work well in trashy area's. I'm also considering the T2 and the AT Pro. $1,000 - $600.00 is going to be my price range. I know there are a lot of great detectors out there, just trying to narrow my search. I would appreciate any feedback on the F75.
Thank you, David

All three that you mentioned are very good choices for the kind of hunting you are going to be doing. AT Pro is the easiest to use and learn from the get go. The two First Texas machines will get you some amazing depth, and are the go to of many relic hunters. The SE is the same(new)name of the LTD. If you decide on one of the first Texas units make sure you are getting the black one with boost and cache modes then you are safe, there is some confusing packaging that results in the standard. F75 being called the SE.

Thank you for your response. I was thinking about the Fisher 7 yrs ago, but my budget was closer to the Tesoro. Its a very good machine, I just want my next detector with multiple tones and ID numbers. The AT PRO does look on the simple side. I like the idea of the iron audio. It looks like a very popular machine. Will the F75 pic through trashy areas with the help of different tone's.
I'm taking my time on which detector I pick. There's just a lot of very good machines to choose from.
Thank you again very much for your response.

The Fisher is very fast and will pick stuff out very well. The nice thing about the Fisher is the 5" coil, in boost mode you have a very deep seeking sniper coil for trashy spots. The upside/downside of it is its sensitivity, it can give some people fits if they aren't willing to give it the time to learn. I have hunted with all three of the machines mentioned extensively, and with the budget you have given would go with the F75. However neither of the other two would leave you disappointed in your search for coins or relics.
