Fisher F70 question

I am looking at buying a new detector. Im in the $450 price range. A friend has a new in box fisher F70 he took on trade for $400, a new whites coinmaster gt for $400 and a whites dfx for $550. I know the other 2 are whites and this is the fisher forum. but I really want to know if the f70 is good for all around hunting. I live in new orleans and soil is not highly mineralized I will primarily be hunting for coins but I want to hunt relics too.

If anyone can help me out i would love it.

I'm not knocking the White's products you mentioned (I was one of the DFX engineers back when), but for the conditions you describe the F70 would be the better beep.

The DFX would probably do a better job in the wet stuff on the salt water beaches --- there's no one machine does everything the best.
