❎ SOLD Fisher F-75

I am posting several machines for the family of a club member who passed away 3 weeks ago. The third and final machine is a Fisher F-75. Jack's son told me that it was a Anniversary edition but I do not know if that makes them more valuable or not. Jack's children need the money in order to finish out the house. Jack managed to get the walls spackled and sanded but never painted and there are a lot of other items needing completion. I am going to price this machine at $500.00 shipped to the lower 48. Please feel free to PM me with offers. I will be checking with the children to see if there are any other items related to this machine that can be included. Only the machine itself and the coil attached will be shipped. It appears to be a Closet Queen because I never saw Jack use this machine at any time we hunted together. He mainly used his DFX when coin shooting.

The F-75 is still for sale at this time. I have received offers of $400, 399, and the asking price but the children are hesitant because it requires it to be shipped to Canada. They are also upset with me because they believe I priced it too low. So what is a Pro Bono solicitor/advocate supposed to do when they are not familiar with the machine? I researched the internet found similar machines studied the prices and came up with what I felt was a fair price. They did find the original box and Users guide, and operators manual for the machine and I have them searching for any other related items to sweeten the deal some. Does anyone know how to read the date code and can anyone tell me what year the F-75 Special edition 75th year machine was produced?

Run through the processes, if it has BP mode it is a special edition.

Thanks for the info. Found a post that claims the first 4 digits are the month and year. Does anyone know positive if this is correct?

Thats correct about the first 4 digits, By looking at your photo and seeing the gold handle id say it doesnt have the BP Mode and Cache.
Unless he got it upgraded recently

I purchased a gold handled F75 years ago and it did not have BP or CL mode. I did have the upgrade. There is also one other up grade out there for the machine. I agree with the family, you priced the machine too low. Add another two bills to the price.

It is highly doubtful if Jack had any of the updates or mods done to the machine, but I will know positive later this week. Casca I would raise the price if I learned that all of the upgrades had been done, because technically it would be a newer machine based upon when the updates were completed. Right now I am in limbo land and I cannot justify all the good folks on here to get ticked off at me for pulling the ad and then reposting it at the higher price. I know numerous folks have done that over the years, but if someone really, really wants the machine so bad they can taste it they might actually offer more than the $500. Highly doubtful but considering the reason it is being sold they might feel like donating a little extra to the children. I know it is a sob story but it is all true. Jack was an excellent friend, digging partner and good christian man, I just want to help the children pay his expenses and bills.

By the way Quake, thanks for the info confirming the date of manufacture. For all of those interested it let the factory on July 7, 2007. That makes it nearly 10 years old.

I paid over $700.00 and it was a steal. You dont see these for sale very often, but if your concerned about its age, buy a new one with warranty.

I replied to your earlier PM today KKFOS1975. Problem is in the fact both of your PMs offered me the same amount $450. You didn't up the offer until you made this post. The machine isn't sold just as I posted 2 replies up. I am sorry it is such a confusing mess but Jack's children have the final say. They decided to turn down the first $500 offer because the gentleman lives in Canada. I haven't even had time to PM him and let him know yet. Been at the hospital with another hunting buddy who has congestive heart failure and I am afraid he isn't going to make it. I will say you are first in line now for the machine. Do you want to know if any of the available upgrades have been done to the machine or do you just want it? It is too late to call the kids tonight because of school, but I will give you an answer tomorrow. I know of no reason for them to turn down what I posted as the price. Sorry again for the problems.

Personally I think it is under priced, surprised no one has realized and snatched it up....

Your talking half price here, I buy used all the time and save a ton of money, money saved goes towards any possible repairs if needed down the road which so far for me has been extremely rare, Bought 10 used detectors and only one needed repairs after I bought it and money saved paid for and still had money left over..

If I had the money, then I would be all over it! As is, I am retired on a fixed income and all I can do is trade which won't work in this situation. I know I will have quite a bit coming in tax refunds but that will be sometime down the road.

If you fire it up and the serial # appears then it had the upgrade "The 10 Digit Serial Number " is one of the upgrades.
