This is a pretty good deal. I don't think folks know how good these machines are, dated, but good. Is this a Los Banos model?

Pointman, no it's not a LB, but it is every bit as deep as my cz-3D I had that was not a 1021 model either, but was certified by Tom at 10.8. I started comparing the Cz-5 to the F-19 last weekend and it hits very hard on the deeper targets in test bed, where the 19 just had a soft fuzzy response. The 19 will of course out shoot it in trash and iron, but not raw depth. It's too good a machine to keep lowering just to get rid of. (Don't kill me Jeff!)

This CZ-5 is a Los Banos unit,First Texas took over after they stopped making the CZ-5 First Texas inherited the CZ3D from the original Los Banos Fisher.

The CZ-5 is STILL one of the deepest coin hunting
machines out there. Learn what the audio is telling
you and you will be digging some very deep silver.

Hellofa price on that...wish I was still able to hear good
enough to use it. Anybody looking for a superb coin shooting
machine would have to spend at least 2x that amount to get
any other machine that could even come close to the CZ5.

Thanks for the info! I guess it has to be a Los Banos then. I've thought about converting to a 3D but I'm pretty much going to dig mids and high tones anyway that are decent sounding.
