Fisher 1260 X Question

Hi guys/gals, can anyone tell me the difference between a 1260 X and a 1266 X. What mods did Fisher do to the machine from the 1260 to the 66. My reason, I have a chance to pick up a 1260 X with na 8" & 11" Coil. I have a 1266X and it is my deep relic hunter. Thanks Folks

I also own the 1266...


I think the 1265 and 1266 were the *Best* machines that Fisher produced in the 90's. I don't know if the 1260 will cut it for you...


but you might want to send a PM to EasyMoney. He has lots of detector knowledge and either currently owns one or has probably owned one in the past.
