...heck ya, this is an experiment to see how many of you would take the bait just knowing a flint hook was about to be busted!

Not really, found a few fish hooks at the show (Lone Star show at Temple) and they were something. No, Sir not a single flint one. lol

the tiny one upper right hand corner is pretty tricky. The cordage/sinew is fake as it is first to succumb to age and rot, but the rest is supposedly authentic. I say supposedly 'cause what do I know?

The show was my first and it was fantastic. Met some great folks and learned a thing or three. Got me some new reference materials on Texas artifacts and have already read some real eye opening information.

Happy huntin' pards.

Shows are always fun. It gives me hope on finding something more than field grade.

Hey so this is the show you were talking about. Did you see and other members there? We have one here once a year. Always fun to see what other people have that is for sure.

Hey Richard,

I met quite a few folks, but none from here. (that I knew of anyway)

I only took this couple of pics, didn't know if people would want me doing that, and most everyone was too darn busy to ask. I didn't want to bother them anyway. There were a few I could have spent the entire day quizzing. Got into several good conversations about hunting methods and typing info.
It was a great time and I will be back next year with a few items of my own.

See ya, BW
