Headed down to Cape Cod - plan on hooking up with Whydah tommorrow
could not check into my hotel so headed to onbe of my fav spots down there
had one of my cold water suits - should have brought even colder water suit
water temp was around 50 degrees F
I got in for a couple of hours - no gold but I know theres some out there
did get 2 silver quarters and sil.Roos.
got a large cal. musket ball
was in about chin deep wish i had known those coins were silver - would have worked that spot more - when I dumped coins out - noticed one had 40 showing
you Fla. guys dont know what youre missing

I've never water hunted before...I don't even care for beach detecting because I've never found anything. I think you need an area with a substantial population...my little town of 4800 people is conducive for many lost rings and things.

Casper do you wear a weight belt at that depth, I was out at "Chinnies" the other day and getting leverage onto the scoop was a struggle + small passing swells were easily pushing (floating) me off the mark?
