Thanks Nick and DD-77.

I always wondered how a War Nickel sounds and now I know.

Good luck,
HH.

Nice thing about war nickels is when you dig them they usually come
out of the ground silver looking.

Congrats on your first one, I'm sure there are many more in your future.

HH, Ringfinder

Yes, ringfinder, it was kinda silver looking, the nickel in the picture next to the 43' is
a 1940 (out of the same hole), but still it didn't jump out at me like other silver I
found, but it definitely
was not like any nickel I've found before.

DD-77 I would think they came off of a beer can sometime around late 1963.
They are zip tops, of which, so far I've only found about 8 or so of em. They were the
first pull tabs , between 1962-1965. If you find them you might find some silver
(this spot I've found two mercs, and two rosies) but it's not that encouraging.

Good luck,
HH.

Yeah, I am actually diggin those pull tabs as they are rare! Who woulda though to see some rare pull tabs! They should make a rare pull tab section!!!! KOD!!!! Congrats on the Nick!!!
