FIRST V NICKLE....

I'm still waiting for them to finish cutting the bean's so they can get out of my way So I had to resort to the yard,which has been very good to me so far.Still plugging away to "get the trash out" and this guy popped out.Was expecting a Buffalo but was greeted with my first V Nickle Should clean up nice.They should be done the bean's tomorrow,can't wait!!!!

That's a decent strike on that one Joe. They generally have a weak strike. Most people would be happy hunting that yard and you want in the bean field huh? You should score big there too. HH and good luck, Quindy.

Nice score and congrats . Funny the V nickel . When I first started I found one in a tot lot and I still do not know How it ended up just under the bark. It was my secound notable find. Then 8 years later ( this spring ) I found three within Five feet of each other . Love this hobby allways full of first. Rob hh

Great coin, I found my first one this year too. Mine has a kind of rusty orange patina. When I first saw it I thought it was a gold coin...then I saw the V. I knew right away what it was; but it's the first one I've ever held in my hand. Now we need to each find a 3 legged Buffalo, lol.

Quindy, I always carry a 24 pk of batteries in my car. You should see what I've found....LOL just letting him take the lead right now.
