well, i finally got out and did some detecting for the first time this year and boy was it productive. first, on sunday me and a friend hit an old farm house that we hit a hundred times and i got this nice silver cross, my friend found a 1794 large cent. the union canal locks are in the front yard so there has to be more. and yes, i was very jealous... today, as i waited for my pastor to show up at church for a meeting i found 75 cents and a nice silver .925 ring. silver gives off such a nice tone. i will be hearing it in my sleep.
