Detector(s) used
MineLab E-Trac and White's Classic 4
Nice 59 degree day, no way was the detector staying inside all day! Got a call from a landowner near me that he would be at his land for an hour, wanted me to come over and see boundary lines and detect for an hour while he was present. We concentrated around the smaller of the two foundations on his property, both of which we knew were mid 1800's or so. Lots of broken glass around and a lot of sticker bush. The other foundation is worse, not sure we can even get in to detect it. Ended up with a badly worn 1864 Indian, a copper ring of some sort and lots of whats-its. After following me around, he decided that he liked my way of covering things back up and respect for his land, so he granted my uncle and I full access to his land whenever we want to go there! After finding this in less than an hour, I know we have to hit it hard.
