Hey all. Went out for a few hours this morning to an unassuming spot. It was a parkway between lake Michigan and a bunch of multi million dollar houses. Snagged a pair of 1937 wheats and my first nickel trifecta.

1910 V

1938 Buffalo

1943 War

It was a great morning. Was gonna say we need some rain but we got a good downpour this afternoon. Hopefully the ground soaked most of it up.

Well done !
Nice trio of nickles!
Thanks everyone. It was a welcome surprise for sure. Lots more ground to cover. Passed up on a few deep targets but the ground was so dry I'll have to go back. Hopefully whoever detected here in the past left me some silver.

While I was working on the V Nickel, a lady asked if I was having any luck. I said I was working on a deep Nickel signal we'll see what it is. She waited while I recovered the coin. As I wiped it and saw the V I said " Oh my goodness it's a V Nickel!" I explained it was older than the Buffalo nickel I had dug earlier. Let her take a look at it and she said "Looks like I brought you some good luck!" I thanked her and we went out own ways. Not 5 minutes later I completed the trifecta with a shallow war nickel. It was a cool experience. I'll have to go back soon!
