First Time

Whelp, tomorrow is the big day, the first day. Going to hit a couple banks tomorrow. Silver fever already.

Scrounged around my wife change purse and pulled out 1x '64 & 1x '46 dimes.

Saw my daughters change stash on one of her shelves and spotted a very nice wheat in excellent condition.

At this point I thought it would be a great idea to teach the family about silver coins, wheaties and pre-82 pennies.

EDIT: Just saw you are from Conn. Don't THINK I have hit your banks yet... =) I've cracked into Mass. quite a few times from my home state though.

Ok..Here is the score:

Purchased all they had, which was a $250.00 bag of unrolled halves.

6x 90%
23x 40%

And its not even noon yet.

The rush I got every time I locked onto one of those was fantastic!

After I posted this I went back into that bag just to double check and found 4 more!!!

I'll have to remember to always look at the dates because some of them I passed up because of the copper edge.

You will get better at not missing those tricky clad looknig 40's as you go. I can spot on of those across the room by now and I'm sure people like LJ can spot one while it sits on the surface of the moon.
