Nice work first time out with the Nox 800. The best advice I can give you is for you to put some hours on it, watch videos etc. Maybe a test garden. Mostly...use it and dig. Congrats and good luck out there.

have fun and dig a lot. awesome machine. I like tones and use 50 tones but that is me. do love my 6 inch coil too

Use it. A lot.

Nice!!! Congrats!!! Great Machine!!!! Time under Your belt, and You’ll continually be Amazed!!!

You will love the machine, definitely get some time behind it. I like 5 tones, but I primarily coin shoot and I would also get the 6” coil. Good luck out there!!

Do you lose depth with the smaller coil??

Probably some, but its worth the trade off in trashy areas in my opinion. I also like it in the brush/woods as well.

I agree. Get out and enjoy. The Equinox is a great machine. I like 5 tones too.

I run mine wide open and I’ve hit silver dimes at 8” with no problems

I second the suggestion (for trashy areas)... I use the 11 inch coil and in trashy areas after about 2 hours I don't know whether I'm coming or going from all the BeePPPEEEEPbedleeep-ing :laughing7:
I really dig the machine though overall and have recently started using 50 tones. I'll be adjusting some other settings now that I'm accusomed to it.

Congrats on your maiden run with a new machine! :occasion14:
