Just got my new 8x6 butterfly SEF coil for my Ace 250. Took it out to test it out and after finding a spent 30-06 shell I got a hit and dug up this nice but kind of worn out 1892 Indian Head Penny. Was either beginners luck with the new coil or maybe more to come in the future,
This is my oldest coin to date. I had to put it in olive oil to get most of the dirt off, but at least I can see the date pretty good now..Hope the pics are clear enough to show the date 1892,,, Want to get back to the old walking path that goes thru a city park near my home.. Hope more are buried there.. Good hunting Shane
