I wish you luck next hunt.

Sneads. at least you are out in the water digging valuable targets my friend. Did that tropical storm open up any beach cuts for you?

I haven't ventured into the water yet, i have more then 20 miles of beach i am trying to covers, and in the last 2 years i have only saw 2 other people sweeping, one was a child with a bounty hunter who i tryed to give some hints, and another older gentleman with an excall who said he was going to stick to his normal beach. So i have been hitting the dry and wet sand, just to try to cover alot of ground. In the next week or so i will start venturing out into the water with the sand shark in the most popular swimming areas, the old beach hunter ID is a bit tough to swing in the waves. I still need to figure out how i am going to hook my detector and my giant scoop to myself, the waves here are not exactly friendly. The storm had little to no effect on the beach i hunt.

I am still new to beach hunting, and my beach is extreamly odd in that A) they bulldoze the beach regularly to rebuild the dunes B) The high tide line is right up against the dunes. So my targets arnt as nice and neat as most peoples, I find huge fishing weights up along the dunes, and pennies all over the place, no such thing as a "metal line" or anything like that here.

My best day was working a cut in the wet sand, but those cuts are few and far between
