Well, I finally got past my yard and hit up an old farm place. The only sign of it is a hand pump standing alone on about an acre and a half. Lots of foil and can remnants, just as I assumed. No coins, but it was good practice.
When I found the bottom right object, I thought I had a rifle bolt handle, until it came out. It's copper or brass, and too small for a melting pot, but it's definitely dished out. The lower left item is soft copper and appears to have had a conical shape.
Can I be officially called an MD'er now? (I'm sure no photographer).... :D

Oh Tap! Don't you dare give up on that old farm site!!!!!!! That's exactly the kind of place that will produce, of course you will have to put some time and work into cleaning it up! when you get the junk out the SILVER will rise!!!! That was what I was thinking when I found an old farm site, oh man nothing but junk, old door hinges, a old office chair wheel a couple wheat's. We were there for a couple of hours, I decided to head toward Culver and check some other areas, when I though hey I'll stop and hit this small clear area by the old well, lucky I did because I hit a BINGO!!!!!! 6" down I found an old large serving spoon, when I pulled it out I saw bluish green glass, it turned out to be an intact Ideal Ball Jar and inside was dry rotted cloth and in that cloth was 10 Morgan and 3 Peace Silver Dollars!!!! So don't give up on that site, you may find some pretty good stuff there, just keep working it!!!!! And it is important to have the property owners permission! make sure its in writting! Good Luck and work it hard! QUICKSILVER(appletree)

p.s. Here is a photo of the remaining coins to in courage you to keep working it!

Not to worry. I just got a start on that place. It took 3 weeks to finally catch the owner at home and secure permission. There are two more home sites within a quarter mile of this one. I have my summer cut out for me.
I was born and raised a farmer and worked in the grain business for 31 years. I have no problem knocking on doors and "talkin' the talk". It helps.

don't discard it cause of the junk thats older junk so the silver is there but it takes time to bring it up
