Hello everyone!
Just last week, I was out detecting in a new park out of my local area and came across two lumps of some very heavy material that looked like some kind of weird rocks.
Got them home and heated them up a bit to see how they would react.
Turns out they are two hunks of raw aluminum ore!
In the first picture are some drops of melted aluminum in the upper left hand corner that dripped off as I was heating them up.
Cannot imagine how these got into that park There were also a lot of old things too.
Maybe I'll make an aluminum cast of something.
