Just getting started with this hobby. I have always thought about since I was a kid when I seen my neighbor pull an old 50 cent piece out of the ground. That was around 39 yrs ago.
So far it has been great but seems to have turned into an addiction, i'm sure there are others out there that feel the same way.
So far I have accumulated 2 detectors and looking at a 3rd one................oh boy a man and his toys.......
I think the thing I like most about this one is the fact that I have something to show for my efforts. I like shooting guns also and spent considerable amount of time and money doing that and in the end always had to purchase more ammo. With this detecting hobby I actually score some jingle at the end of the day.
My first machine was the Garrett AT Pro which I plucked 2 silver roosevelt dimes out of my yard with. I think that was when addiction set in.
Second machine is a Tesoro Vaquero, yet to find anything major with it.
