First Time Beachin! Plus Vacation Shots

Hi all,
Just got back back from Charleston S.C. and had a real beachin time! We went to Ft.Sumter,the Battery, Rainbow Row,Aquarium,Magnolia Cemetary and of course the beach.First time detectin on the beach and did o.k. for the short time I detected.Came home with 11q,22d,7n,29p 2 earrings,a dogtag and a mini flashlight that works.Had a great time andwill post a pic or two of the trip.After the stuff is ft.sumter,bigrig in gatlinburg tenn.,and clingmans dome in gatlinburg.Hope you like.

WTG1 That beach diggin is great , ain't it. I wish this hard a#$ clay dirt junk I have here was that easy. I was just down in Hilton Head and loved searching in the early AM on the beach. Sunrise, quiet , birds etc.....I'M MOVING TO THE BEACH! .....LOL

How would you like to swing your MD in that old graveyard in the center of town for a few minutes... those old headstones and markers are awesome...

Graves from the 1700's... I bet there are coins well over 350 years old in there... from there you could head down to the old slave market and pop up a few slave tags...

So was beach detecting a lot different than at home? How were your detectors doing near the salt water? I was just wondering cuz I'm going to the Outer Banks in July. I'm taking the DFX maybe the Prizm, too.
