I reviewed and studied the post you had for me and that shield is not like mine...mine has no writing or any markings on the face...and the back has two places for attachment...

I think the first item may be an escutcheon for a door lock, the shield looking item is a saddle strap guide. Someone will pipe up about the button, they are fairly easy to identify.
Nice finds!!
