It was thick I could barely swing my coil and the bugs ate me alive. This was the last target I found before I left. Its about the same size as a mason lid but isn't threaded. Its made of brass and there was a red material on the inside when I dug it up. I was thinking it was gasket material. Can anyone ID this thing? I also found a wheat penny so I think I will check it out again in the fall.
