Going back to school in a couple days so not gonna have much time to hunt, but thankfully my dry spell ended today. I gave garage sales a solid effort today hitting all I could, asking my usual questions. Got this bracelet which I assume to be silver, not sure for 50 cents! Weighs 26 grams.
Came across an older lady who wanted to sell some gold jewelry to me. She wanted $140 for all these rings which I picked up! 15 grams of 14k and 15 grams of sterling. The dolphin ring is amazing, giving it to my mom for sure, it's on eBay for a nice amount over scrap! The other small ring has a 0.11 ct diamond, and the heaviest one weighs 7 grams faux diamonds. She threw in two sterling rings one of which has amber in it! Scored big here!! She took my name and number and was going to get a set of 50 sterling coffee spoons and look for more gold jewelry... Hope she calls, I've given my name and number to 4 people already through out the last couple of weeks and none have called,
Finally, at the last sale I got two lamps for absolutely free. Made in USA by Leviton, one was just a regular porcelain base nothing special still nice, but this one is all brass and extremely heavy, currently being used in the house! No idea how old... Maybe 70s? What do you think?
