Howdy folks.

Got my first SLQ on Sunday. Been hunting for one for years. Found seated, found barber, never could get on a Standing Liberty until this weekend. Even had it on last year's and this year's bucket list. Was at a trashed out lot that used to have a sanatarium on it. Rang up as a copper penny, but there were 2 nails in the hole with it.

Thanks for looking,

Congrats, Nice save!!

Keep at it, did you find anything else noteworthy there?

45 wheat penny. Got a 3 other wheats on the last visit. They must have had the lot as a trailer park back in the 70s-80s. There are still hook ups around and gravel pads under the grass. I think it's been hunted before as well, which is funny cuz I had to do some serious digging to find out who to ask for permission.

Nice work! Your on a great spot for sure. Patience and persistence are some of the best tools we have with this hobby.

Awesome!!!! I'm still waiting.

Congratulations on your nice recovery..I’d be happy to also find one

Very , very nice. Jusr shows that it pays to dig those signals that are slightly off... I'm still trying to dig my first seated quarter. It haunts me.....
