first silver

was having a good day.found 1918 wheat penny, my oldest so far. then went to site of new appartment complex in old part of town and out pops this 1841 half-dime. couldnt belive it, going to be hard to beat. always thought first silver would be 1964 something

My first silver was a 1920 SLQ with only the "0" left of the date.

I've never found a Barber anything, much less a half-dime! Beats my 1st silver by a damn sight.
Your first silver coin is from the 1840's?!? Unbelievable!
