First Silver

I took a few minutes today to do a little hunting and dug three targets. The first is my specialty...trash targets then I got a dime at about three inches. I looked at it and noticed it was shiny and thought i had my first silver. When I read it, I thought it said 1982 and i just put it in my pocket like business as usual and went on to my third and final target at about five inches. It was a 1963 Lincoln. I had to get ready for work so I left the area and went to clean up the two coins I got and lo and behold there is an upside to being old or older and having bad eyesight...LOL! The dime was a 1962 Rosie. Not the best find in the world but I will gladly take it as my first silver. HH guys.

Congrats on your first silver! You'll dig alot of silver if you stick with it but you'll never forget your first, great job. Sounds like a good area.
