This morning I decided to break out the Quick Draw II and swing around our patio and along the driveway. My fiancee' and I have been in our new house (new to us, it was built in 1968) for about two and a half months now and i haven't really hunted the yard yet. I am new to the hobby and still figuring things out. I watched some youtube video on the QDII and was ready to try out what i had learned. I had been around the back padio edges once and was making my way back when i had a high pitched tone. I dug it out and it was silver. Not a coin but a sterling silver spoon. It is a Little Dutch Milk Maid spoon. It appears to be either a sugar spoon or a baby spoon. I think it is the latter. I also found a 1976 Lincoln by the drive and a flattened souveniir penny from Disneyland (it's an image of Cinderella's Castle). I have a Garrett AT Pro and pinpointer on the way and can't wait to see what I find next.
