What kind of differences are you seeing when you compare the XLT to the V3? Better depth with the V3?
 

i have the vx3 it seems to be more smoother and more accurate with target id. as far as depth goes i haven't found anything yet over 5". it is a lot better in mineralized soil. i was over this section that i found these finds with my xlt and never picked anything up. the dirt is full of coal ash. i am still learning the machine...
