IMG_20121207_093527.jpgIMG_20121207_154416.jpg Went to the same open lot that "fella" got all his silver yesterday. I dug a 1917 merc, 1925 and 1929 wheats, a mexican coin dated 1988 (didnt look it up yet), a few more buttons and $2.64 in clad. Sorry for the poor quality pics. Maybe santa will get me a new camera for Christmas! :icon_biggrin: HH

Nice finds! How deep we're the coins? Especially the Merc

Nice! I can't hardly believe the amount of coinage that little lot produces. Did you get that thimble from yesterday cleaned up? Just wondering what the printing was on it.

Cool finds "Keep da coil to da soil!"...........................HH

No I didn't. Im soaking a bunch of coins and relics now that all that white stuff covered the ground.

The merc was @ 7" and both the wheats were about 5"-6" deep. Every hole I dug had multiple trash targets. Old square nails and can slaw. I am very impressed at how the Vaq discs out and recovers a target surrounded in garbage! That 1895 IH I found the day before was under an old soda can!:headbang: Oh and that merc @ 7" was hitting like a quarter @3"!
