Detector(s) used
whites MXT, Explorer XS
Purchased a used XS a few weeks back and had not had much time to try it out,
except for my backyard. Took it to an old park today that I have hunted fairly hard and wasn't
finding much anymore with my other detector except for the occasional wheatie.
Still learning the explorer sounds, but here's what I got today in about three hours.
A 1940 D merc and
7 wheaties

Nice, congrats ! I just got a used Explorer xs myself.I love that thing ! I've been hitting some of my old sites and finding quite abit that I missed with all my other detectors......she goes DEEP !

The XS is one of the finest machines that has ever been made. I liked it better than the Explorer II I owned.

I took mine out into a vacant lot by some stores that everyone has stripped clean. I thought to myself--nothing here but what the heck. I dug 7 or 8 dimes and a bunch of mems within 45 minutes. All the dimes were clad but they had been there for a good amount of time (3-5 inches deep).

To try other brands I sold my XS but I really miss it.

Nice finds,

Badger

I went from a Whites M6,which is very like a MXT,to a used XS.I find the the XS is a superior coin shooter, especially in trashy areas and I would never give up the flute!

Nice finds, the 1907 Marksman piece is pretty interesting!!
