Alright guys so I've hot this area HARD. I've found old wheats oldest being 1909. They're were about 5 houses on this property ranging from 1800s-1975. I thought I'd find a silver coin but no I got a sterling soup spoon!! This is my first silver in the upstate and first silver at this spot and first silver utensil. They had just torn down two old trees. They were HUGE and this was under it

If possible how old do you think it is?

Maybe a ladle idk!

Awesome spoon! Can we get a close up on the maker's mark?

Can anybody tell me what kind of spoon it is and how old? I'm really confused lol

By the style and the hallmark , I believe it to be relatively modern -1940's - 1960's A wonderful find !

The pattern is called a "Betsy Patterson". It could be from earlier, but I think it is from the 1940's.

I just checked and your dead on. Thanks so much. I forgot to mention there were multiple houses in this little land plot. Quite a few 1940s-1950s wheats from that area. Makes sense.

Nice spoon! I found a Sterling sugar spoon (State House Inaugural pattern, still available at Replacements jsut up I-85) in a curb just three weeks ago. It is truly a surprise to see something that size in the hole!
