1800'S farm, i found it about 8 inches deep, i know its silver but i can't make out the hallmark. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance 20140609_200556.jpg20140610_073740.jpg

Wonderful silver ring for your first! :hello2: :blob9: :hello2: It's a beauty & I imagine some little girl or young woman enjoyed wearing it for a long while before it was lost. Seems to be an unusual design and very groovy for us horse lovers to see!

Took me a while to dig my first silver ring. Mine was fairly shallow but in extremely hard tough dirt pounded by years of kids playing on it at popular playground. Ring was a silver Irish "good luck" ring which I wear nearly every day. Have fun! Andi
 

What a lovely ring, bet some tears were shed on the day that one got deposited !
