First silver ring find

Found this silver ring about 5 inches down in Atwater Veterans Park. My second silver find at this park. The ring is unfortunately smashed but I was so thrilled to find it let out a loud yessssss! upon finding it forgetting I was in public lol. Anyone know if it can be fixed I never assume it is a lost cause it looks bad but I'd be happy if it could at least be slightly fixed.

nice find...you might want to invest in a mandrel to straighten the shank out. It has "saved" a couple of rings that were smushed.

Yeah it doesn't look like a complete lost cause. When I found it it was dirt caked and I thought it was just twisted up wire and almost tossed it in my trash bag but the brightness of the metal caught my attention last second.

I think I spent most my time cleaning the park lol. Found so much trash but didn't mind it's a veterans park so at least cleaning a lot of trash from the park made me happy.

Yeah if it is too pricey I won't bother with it. I'll mess with it myself if I have to. I'll most likely ruin it further but oh well no loss just silver I'll throw in my safe with the rest

Just put it on a chain, and wear it when you detect. Your first coin taped to your machine brings silver, your first silver brings gold! - Congratulations!
