Went out to day ground was highly saturated and the V3i was acting up horribly. After playing with all the functions for an hour I found lowering Disc by 6 to 76 quieted her down. Got a signal of 85-95 showing 10" on depth. Dug down 8 inches hit a 6 inch wide flat rock but the pinpointer was buzzing so I dug it out. Another 2" down I found my fist silver quarter with the V3i. I was hoping it would be a standing Barber but this is what I got so I'll keep it. Also got a solid hit of 52-55 which sounded good at a depth of 6". It was almost exactly six inches down and in a high trash area. found about 8 clad coins, but over all it was a good learning experience

Okay, I am jealous, nine years, no silver quarters at all. And for you, not just any old silver quarter but a seated . Great find,

Sweet quarter

Wow MD, that's a sweet seated, you can check that one off the list. :occasion14: That coin still eludes my coil.
