Went back to the property where I found the lock and scored some pretty nice finds. A 1904 IHP,1839 or 89 seated dime can't really make it out,a 3 ringer, flat button with "RICH GOLD COLOR" on the back,a little figurine and what might be a scabbard of some kind not sure. Found a ton of trash as usual but was worth it in the end

Nice hunt! The figurine may be a Knights Templar replica (?). What ever it turns out to be it's very cool. Congratualtions.

That was a great hunt there.Your dime appears to be an 1839 without drapery. There are stars on the obverse of that coin,

The back is so toasted I can't even see anything on it but if its a 39 then that makes it my oldest coin I have found. Thanks

Nice job on the IH and the figurine. If that is a knights templar figurine, look very closely to see if it hold's any clues to the treasure on Oak Island.:icon_scratch: Congrats:thumbsup:

You're off to a good start if your first silver is a seated dime. Way to go.

Excellent hunt,
a Seated dime ain't easy to come by.
I don't think you can hurt that dime,
try a little baking soda and water.
Congrats

The hole in the dime adds character.... Great finds !

DEFINITELY 1839!!! Congrats on your oldest coin!!! Awesome relics too! Love the fired three ringer and scabbard tip!

Great finds!! The Templar fig is really awesome it would be cool to clean him up and possibly repaint him for display.. But HH all the same

1839! This one is easy to tell. They moved UNITED STATES OF AMERICA to the obverse at some point (too lazy to look up actual date). 1889 is the USA obverse. 1839 has stars on the obverse.
