Got to do a little hunting for about a couple hours this morning. I nearly ended my first hunt of the year with out pulling a silver coin out of the ground. It was my last find after finding 12 wheat's, a 1943 D merc. in the same hole as a wheat. It was a nice start to the new year anyway and made me happy. Also, I found this strange,(I suppose, once cylindrical), length of copper, with a bit of rusted steel in the end of it. My guess would be a lever of some kind for an antique auto? Hope you enjoy seeing my finds. HH

Yes, that is just a cheap aluminum ring that was bent into a small ball, and dug up at about 5" deep. Thanks for looking.

Nice start for the year. Congrats
