First silver crh'ing

Swung by two banks on the way home from work today and picked up 5 rolls of dimes and a roll of quarters. One bank gave me a the roll of quarters and a single roll of dimes that had a cylindrical stop at one end which makes me think they may not have been customer wrapped, I don't know. But as for the quarters, believe I got two territories and a hot springs park... not bad. Looking through my four dime rolls from the other bank, one had what appeared to be at least two silvers judging by the edges... well, sure enough, I found a 1950 silver dime. The other turned out to be I think an 80's canadian dime, they must be knickel or something because it looked like silver at a glance. Felt good to find some silver

Thanks, I think I'll be partaking in crh'ing for a while now that I've tasted the thrill of the hunt.

-Well, I do own two Mauser 98's, a 237 Berlin Lubecker and a Yugo m24/47... I may part with the yugo to fund a beckoning new handgun though.

MM, dimes are a blast to search 'cause they are so consistant. Pick up a $250 box once a week, and by the end of a year you should have close to 100 silver dimes, throw a couple mercs in there too! ffd

A compelling challenge... I'll have to try and find a bank willing to accommodate me with the boxes...

nice! i love dimes!!! they are awesome, tho they didnt get me my first silver...halves did the trick for that!
