I just got back into hunting last summer, today I found my first silver in 35 years. I found a 1951 Roosevelt dime about 2-3 inches deep. About a half hour later I found a slot machine token. When I went back over the spot I got another hit and about 4-5 inches down was A 1960 quarter.

Well Hi Oh Silver and away back to detecting that is and I'd say your were "back in the saddle" as far as detecting again goes! What machine did you use to use some 35 years ago?

Last night there was a knock on my door and there stood the UPS man with a long box from White's with my new lower shaft,4 x 6 DD coil and some nuts and bolts all for my old XLT and I am looking forward to using them again.

I had a Compass, I don't remember the model. It was one of the lower mid level models. Not the best, not the worst. This isn't the first silver I've found since I restarted just the first coins. I've found three silver rings and a gold ring.

Very cool, welcome back to the addition, I dug my first silver coin of 2013, and last Saturday I dug a silver necklace and a silver religious token larger than a silver dollar, keep getting out there.

Very nice, nothing better then silver in the bottom of the hole.

Good deal - 2 silver coins in one day is always welcome!

Can we get a shot of the token?? Would love to see it :-)
