thanks, everyone. Hard ground doesn't even begin to explain it... The ground here is harder than a woodpecker's lips!
 

Thanks for sharin... Haven't found silver in so long I needed to remind myself what it looks like! The silver I have found has always been worn looking too, like people were too poor, hung on too them and didn't loose them often around here! Their currency was eggs, chickens and hogs! Good job welcome!
 

That's a great first silver. Mine was a merc and I was tickled as I sure you were as well.
