Today I decided to hit a park I had been to a couple times before. I was using the 6" MF coil on my X Terra 505, hoping to find some gold jewelry among the trash. After a good amount of trash and a very small amount of clad, I got a solid high tone, that ID'd as a quarter (42). At 4-5" deep, I was shocked when I saw the edge and it was not clad. It looked like a walking liberty for a sec, but I turned it over and realized it was a 1964 Franc (.835 silver). I was pretty stoked as I have been hoping to find a silver coin for about a year now! The pickin's are slim here in SoCal! Strange that it's a foreign coin, but I'm still happy with it. I think it's a beautiful coin!
