hello all,had a good hunt today, found my first silver,a 56 dime.was so excited when i pulled it out of the ground.was surprised how clean and shiny it was, didnt have to clean and scrub to see the date.just a quick wipe on my shirt.i found it at a school playground in mt juliet Tn.weird thing was it was only about an inch down, then i rescanned the hole and got a nickel hit.was hoping for old gold because gold shows as a nickel on the ace 250,turned out to be a 2004 nickel like 5 inches down.how it was deeper then the 56 dime beats me.only searched that playground for about an hour and there is a big ball field there i did not hit if any one in the nashville area wants to check it might be a good spot, just pm me if you want directions.also found a monte carlo bumper ;D .then i found this weird african looking pendant, same on both sides.then this weird token coin thingy.dont know what it is but my girlfriend said she thinks it might be from some AA program or something :D.also 2 bucks in clad.all in all a good day.if anyone knows anything about the token thingy let me know please.thanks and HH.

Nice find! You might want to quit the wiping the dirt off of your coins in the field.
If you get a rare one, rubbing the dirt across the coin can put small scratches on
the surface and drop the value. I carry a white large top asprin bottle about 3/4
full of water. When you get a silver coin, just drop it in, and put the lid back on and
keep hunting. You can drop multiple coins in the water, and they wont be damaged
because they are in water. As for the token, that is someones AA, 20 years of sobriety
medal (XX). Keep on swingin!!
