I thought I was prepared for the weather today, but I didn't realize how windy it was. I went wading at the last minute for the first hunt of 2025. wind was crazy, waves were bigger than I expected, my hands got wet and numb. It was the first time out with a new Deus 11 and lasted less than an hour. I found a handful of modern coins, junk, a pipe fitting then the ring. I thought it wasn't gold at first because my hands were so cold i didn't feel the weight and the sun was setting so it just went in the pouch. then I got a funny signal that turned out to be the open chain with the crucifix. it came out dirty and again i thought it was a cheap chain and threw it in the pouch. when I got back to the car and my hands warmed up, I actually thought I had a gold chain. Well, the chain is marked 925, crucifix is marked 950, the ring is 18K with a real diamond, actually marked 750. WoooHooo! anyone would have found any of these with any detector that woks in wet salt sand, they were easy, but the amount of trash makes it a challenge at this beach. I never went in over my knees. I'm on the sheet for 2025! good luck to all of you in the coming months.

on the board with a splash, wtg. gold and silver on the same trip is aces in my book.....

A beautiful piece of Jewelry - congrats !
The chain and crucifix were dirty and very tarnished in the picture with it in my hand. the picture of the chain by itself went through the sonic cleaner and I polished really quick. It had been in the water long enough that it had a few good knots in it.

You did amazing :) Congratulations on a GREAT START for 2025!
